Mathilde Brunet
After two years of working with the Alliance Française in Cambridge, I decided to return to my childhood home in the south of Deux-Sèvres to create my own language school for expats eager to learn French. For the past six years, I've been happily teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) from the large kitchen of a beautiful farmhouse. Classes range from A0 to B2 level and follow a logical and structured progression, based on interaction and learning through playing. Grammar, syntax, communication, pronunciation—all aspects of the language are covered, and DELF exam preparation courses are held regularly. I also teach at the Civray town hall on Friday mornings. In addition, I assist expats with their everyday administrative tasks.
The school on a farm
The farm where the French lessons are held used to belong to my grandparents. It's still in operation, as my brother has taken over the family business. The house itself has been converted into a small language school. The lessons take place in the kitchen, which has been transformed into a fully-equipped classroom.

Responsible for the well-being of the class, Taiga takes her role very seriously and will not fail to remind you to pet her when she senses your stress level increasing.

Responsible for teaching French as a foreign language and for administrative support. She also makes sure that the headmaster and happiness manager are well fed and happy.
